Katla Geopark has unveiled its new easily movable educational exhibition
Katla Geopark has unveiled its new easily movable educational exhibition which is being displayed at Katla centre in Vik. The exhibition consists of three so-called „hop-up“ stands. On them there is information in Icelandic and English about various things within the Geopark, for example the glaciers, birds, history and various geosites. Photos of the exhibition can be seen here, but we recommend to pay Katla centre a visit and have a closer look.
The educational exhibition project was given a grant from Samtökum sunnlenskra sveitarfélaga and the Geopark would like hereby to thank them for giving us the grant. The exhibition text was written by the Geopark, the graphic designer is Elín María at Myndvist and it was printed out by Fagform in Selfoss. Many people supplied photographs and we would like to thank them, and anyone involved in the project for their help and support.
The exhibition will be displayed in Katla centre for now, but the exhibition is considered as a traveling exhibition and will therefore be moved every now and then. For any company that is interested in having the exhibition displayed, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
